One safe zone template for Instagram and TikTok, with fewer duplicate exports.
Use a calmer base layout when one app needs a cleaner lower third and the other needs more room up top.
Center the subject a touch higher than you would for TikTok alone, keep subtitle blocks modest, and avoid decoration that only one app understands. That usually leaves enough room for both feeds.
If the clip absolutely needs heavy stickers or shopping UI, make a fork. But for most talking-head cuts, tutorials, and creator promos, a single shared template is enough if the safe lines are baked in early.
